JOB TITLE: Development Producer
Joi Productions is a London based, Film production company recently awarded a BFI Vision Award. We focus on Queer, black and female-led content, in front and behind the screen. We believe in inclusivity, bridging the gap between social impact and commercial success.
As a development producer your role will involve working with our current slate of writers and directors, whilst scouting new talent and content that fits within the scope of Joi Productions.
NB: The job can be remote but will require travel to London for meetings.
WHO YOU NEED TO BE:
Experienced in Film / TV development or relevant experience within the creative industry.
Creative track record – must show an ability to elevate projects and be able to think outside of the box.
A clear understanding of how the Film industry works.
An ability in finding new talent and voices through traditional and non-traditional means.

Role: Part-time; 2 days a week.
Salary: £18,000 - £20,000 (depending on experience)
Start Date: September 2020 – 1 year fixed contract with option to extend.
